- Saturday, April 12, 2008, 8 p.m.: Waging Peace in Times of War, a multimedia event with film, music, and poetry; Tennessee Valley Unitarian Universalist Church in Knoxville, Tenn. The program includes two multimedia works, readings, and the world premiere of Jim Carlson’s “A Sound as Yet Unheard” for
soprano and piano. HVQ will sing the Agnus Dei from Britten’s War Requiem and join the
TVUUC choir in a selection from Donald McCullough’s “Holocaust Cantata.” Sponsored by TVUUC’s Performing Arts and Lecture Series. Tickets: $15 and $10.
